SHIPPING
FREE SHIPPING: Orders greater or equal to $125 pre-tax are shipped within 7-10 days for free. If you would like your item(s) expedited, please select your preferred option during checkout.
TRACKING: You will receive tracking information via email once your order is shipped!
PROCESSING TIMES: Please note item(s) require processing and packaging time. We do not ship on Sundays or Federal Holidays. Please email hello@shopdistantdrums.com if you have questions about the status of your order.
RETURNS
RETURN WINDOW: Items may be returned within 14 days of delivery. The item(s) must be sent and postmarked by Day 14 of the return window. It is acceptable if the item is received back at Distant Drums beyond 14 days, bearing shipping timelines.
PROCESS FOR RETURNS: Please email hello@shopdistantdrums.com with your order number and reason for return. We'll help you from there!
RETURN SHIPPING: As much as we would LOVE to offer free shipping for returns, at this time our small business cannot accommodate. Depending on the nature of the return, we do our best to satisfy the customer! We want you to feel confident in the fit and quality of your pieces.
RETURN REVIEW: Once we receive your returned items, they will be reviewed for return eligibility. Items with missing pieces (ie. belts included with the order) will not be eligible. Additionally, if items are noticeably worn for a prolonged time and scented, they will not qualify.
PRODUCT DEFECTS: If the product you received is defective, please contact our store within 5 business days at hello@shopdistantdrums.com so we can fix it!
INCORRECT SIZING: If you are returning an item due to sizing, please contact our store within 5 business days at hello@shopdistantdrums.com for help. We want you to feel good in your garment!
LIABILITY: Distant Drums is not responsible for products lost or damaged in the mail. The third-party shipping company is held responsible for any damaged or lost products. Please email hello@shopdistantdrums.com so we can remedy the situation.
SALE ITEMS: Are final sale and cannot be returned for store credit.
ACCESSORIES: For hygienic safety, accessories at this time are final sale. For example, hair accessories carry risk for transferring head lice infestation.
EXCHANGES
EXCHANGES: Due to our niche of small batch production and limited quantities, exchanges for alternate sizes or colors is difficult to guarantee. Please email us at hello@shopdistantdrums.com if you would like a different size. We will check our supply and try our best to accommodate!

Named after a highly coveted garden rose that can never be mass produced, Distant Drums seeks to keep clothing conscious and style small-batch. In the industry, “small batch” means less than 500 units are made per design per run. At Distant Drums, most pieces are one of less than 200. Our boutique is a curated collection of pieces with stories and meaning, from artisans all over the world with a similar mission to push more thoughtful fashion.

About the Founder
Kelly Mark ventured into the world of entrepreneurship in 2018, opening her floral design business where she creates art for styled shoots, weddings, and beyond. By trade, she has a Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy where she's spent almost a decade listening to patients' stories and helping them navigate new ones. From her clinical practice, she's developed a rich language in meaningful living. That, combined with her love of art and fashion, is how Distant Drums was born.
